The usual route to follow from Melbourne:
The most direct way is to follow the Monash Freeway from Melbourne. After about 20km, the turn to the Eastlink freeway. Follow Eastlink until just before Frankston - take the turn to the Peninsula Link freeway. Follow Peninsula Link, it will become the Mornington Peninsula Freeway just before Dromana. Continue until you see the Drive-In screens on your left. Take the Exit for Safety Beach/Dromana, and turn left on Nepean Highway (the Drive-In entrance is 1/2 Km)
