WHAT CAN I SELL?

Fresh Produce, Fruit & Vegetables, Freshly Baked and packaged Food Items;
Bread, Cheese, Cakes, Honey, Preserves, Sauces etc.
Must be,
pre-packaged & 'not for consumption' at market

Antiques and Collectibles; Furniture, Memorabilia, Bric a Brac, Vintage clothing etc.
*Art & Craft; Ceramics, Glass, Jewellery, Woodwork, Textiles, Candles, Soaps, etc.

Pre-Loved items; Tools, Clothing, Toys, Furniture, Books, CD/DVD*,
Electrical, must be useable/clean/safe

Garden; Plants, Flowers, Gardening Supplies, Equipment, Tools etc.
*New Items; Garden, Clothing, Toys, Electrical, Books, CD/DVD*, Packaged food etc.

The counterfeit laws apply to all articles of clothing, hats, footwear, sunglasses, watches, cosmetics & perfume, pirated DVD's, CD's, Videos, Audiotapes, Software,
PlayStation / X-box games and all new-copied goods
* Food, Drink or Confectionary unless prior approval of Management
* Protected Flora or Fauna

Drugs or Medicines, Alcohol, dangerous or offensive items
* Firearms / Weapons, Pornographic or any other materials deemed objectionable by Management
DOES MY SITE HAVE ANY POWER? General sites, NO
DO I NEED TO BOOK A SITE? Yes, Online- to guarantee a site on the day
CAN I ERECT AN UMBRELLA, CANOPY OR MARQUEE?
Yes, providing it is securely weighted down with sand bags, no tent pegs are allowed. Sellers must ensure that umbrellas, canopies and guy ropes used on their site do not pose a risk to market patrons
DO I HAVE TO CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS?
Yes, it's the stallholder's responsibility to take all rubbish/ unsold items away, leaving stall spaces clean and tidy. Bins are on site for buyer litter and food scraps only. Stallholder that leave rubbish behind, car registration number is reported to the EPA.
All statutory littering provisions are applicable in the market area.
COVID SAFETY
If you cant maintain 1.5 mtr social distancing, you must wear a mask.
GENERAL STALLHOLDER TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Fees & Insurance; All stall fees are payable at time of admission.
Stallholders must carry appropriate insurance if required.
Cancellations and Refunds
The Market will operate in varying weather conditions, stallholders must be prepared for adverse weather. Stallholders may pack up their stall but may not move unless permission is given. Management will not be held responsible for any losses, damage or injury whatsoever resulting from cancellation of market or adverse weather conditions
CANCELLATION of MARKET; Mangement reserves the right to cancel the market without notice
- FULL REFUND will be issued if the market doesn't operate.
The Market will cancel if directed by Government regarding Covid-19 rules.
Management will not be held responsible for any losses due to cancellation of market
NO refunds for on-line bookings are given if you do not turn up on the day.
On-Line Bookings once confirmed via payment, cannot be changed & are non-refundable unless Management cancels the market.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Speed limit in the Drive-In - 10km, all vehicles must not move in market area 15 min.
prior and 15 Min. after market advertised buyer trading times.
NO DOGS are permitted to enter the market area.
Smoking is not permitted at any stall site, in buildings or confined areas.
WASTE, RUBBISH AND UNSOLD GOODS
Stallholders are required to remove their rubbish/ waste from their stall location. Boxes & cartons must be removed from market area, failure to do so may result in a levy imposed. Waste bins provided at the markets are for the general public use only.
Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean, tidy and undamaged.
STALL SETUP
Good presentation is required.
Management hire out a limited number trestle tables to stallholders.
All stall equipment including racks, tables, signage etc must be contained to the stall site boundaries.
Public access ways must be clear at all times. Tents, covers and all stall equipment erected securely
at all times. All equipment must in good repair and be operated in a safe manner.
FOOD STALLS
It's the Stallholders responsibility to apply to the local Shire/council (Health and Environmental Services department) to obtain / pay any registration required. Stallholders / Food Trucks must supply copies of registration with their local council and also the council in which they are trading, to Management. Food stallholders must comply with any local, state & federal health regulations and food acts. Failure to comply with health department standards and regulations may result in immediate closure of stall and future stalls may only be reinstated once Management are satisfied all standards and regulations have been adhered to.
POWERED MACHINERY
Power outlets are limited and may only be used with the permission of Management and payment for power consumed. Stallholders must ensure that all electrical equipment and leads be tagged in compliance with relevant workplaces regulations. Stallholders must ensure that all gas appliances are approved and in date. Stallholders using gas/electrical appliances must have a suitable fire extinguisher or fire blanket on site. It is the responsibility of the stallholder to ensure they conform to any safety and compliance standards pertaining to their equipment. If management observes any unsafe situation, the stallholder will be directed to immediately correct the situation, or cease using the device. Testing of any electrical device can only be facilitated through the use of an Earth leakage device located at the ticket box
STALLHOLDER CODE OF CONDUCT:
Stallholders must follow any direction given by management. Stallholders must present their stall in a neat and pleasing manner. Stallholders must not act in a verbally or physically abusive, dangerous, or disruptive manner, any breach will result in immediate termination. Stallholders must ensure that their activities do not endanger the safety or security of any people at Markets. Stallholders must not cause damage, make alterations or additions of any nature to, or carry out works of any nature to market site property and that, if any damage is caused, the costs of any repairs, making good or replacement are borne by the stallholder. Stallholders must comply with all the terms contained in these regulations and must comply with any changes to the market regulations, or any relevant local government and other statutory laws & regulations Stallholders must report to the Management any incident or accident to any person or property that involves loss or could be expected to give
rise to a claim.
TERMINATION
The Manager reserves the right to withhold consent to a stallholder to occupy a stall at the market and may be removed from the market. A stallholder who is in breach or does not comply with the regulations, including where a stallholder: Fails to pay their stall fee in a timely manner, fails to abide by the markets set up or pack up conditions, Fails to abide by the market’s trading hours, fails to abide by the terms and conditions of the market’s rules and regulations, commits a criminal act at the market, or Behaves in a manner that breaches the market’s Code of Conduct , will be removed from the market without refund.
